The IT Security Analyst will support day-to-day IT security operations at SymplyFi including client facing services.
This position is a combination of IT security management and compliance management.
It is an excellent role for candidates that have some IT security and/or compliance experience with a desire to take on more complex responsibilities.
The analyst will work with the SymplyFi Systems Engineering and Technical Support teams to provide IT security monitoring, PCI compliance management, log monitoring and firewall templates management.
This is a customer facing role and requires working directly with SymplyFi customers.

Vulnerability testing and issue remediation

PCI Compliance documentation and reporting

SIEM/Log monitoring, event correlation and issue remediation

Desktop/Endpoint Security configuration, management and reporting

Firewall rules templates and change management

Manage web based security awareness training and phishing testing tools

Other IT security related tasks and duties as assigned

4 years of hands-on experience as an IT security analyst, systems administrator, network administrator or related technical role.

2 years of experience working with common IT security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus software, log management and web content filtering

2 years of experience working with PCI compliance and SAQ tools

2 years of experience with Linux CLI (highly desired) or Windows OS

Able to provide excellent IT security customer support to SymplyFi clients

Excellent problem solving and solid logical troubleshooting abilities
Desired Qualifications

IT security certification - CCNA security, CompTIA Security+ or other IT security industry certification

Experience with at least 1 Linux scripting language

Base Salary of $55,00 to $62,500 based on experience
