ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Expected to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a safe manner and according to the standard set by B & W.
· Assist with operational support on equipment.
· Perform both emergency and corrective action repairs.
· Ready both building and processing equipment for season start-up and shut down.
· Maintain communication with Maintenance Supervisor, Operations Manager and Maintenance Coordinator.
· Perform duties in an effective and efficient manner with little or no supervision.
· Be able to work a flexible work schedule that may consist of days, nights and weekends.
· Read equipment O&M manuals and generate parts requests lists.
· Completion of all work orders via CMMS.
· Assist CMMS Coordinator with Inventory Management and Data Entry for TN and WV Locations.
QUALIFICATIONS

· EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 4 years of maintenance in a food grade industrial facility preferred.
· Basic Mechanical skills required (gear boxes, motors, bearings, etc.)
· Welding and Fabrication skills a plus.
· Basic Electrical and troubleshooting experience 5 years’ experience preferred.
· Basic Ammonia Refrigeration, HVAC, Industrial Ice Machines, and Boiler experience a plus.
· Willingness to further education with both outside training courses and hands on training on equipment.

Must be able to see, sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, reach, bend, twist, squat, pull, push and lift and carry 50lbs constantly, 50+ lbs. on occasion.
This position requires travel to our West Virginia facility as needed for season start-up, shut-down and periodic repairs as well as some off season PM. There may be travel to Florida for training as needed or staff relief.

Must be able to work in a variety of environments, a cold environment of 32 to 40 degrees, an environments of approximately 75 degrees as well as outside in the heat and cold, exposed to nature’s elements.
