Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love and passion for working with and teaching young children.
Duties:
- Create a happy, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow and team members can be happy and work as a team
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to foster children's cognitive and social development
- Conduct assessments to monitor each child's progress and communicate effectively, positively, and professionally with parents
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom conducive to learning
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure an effective, happy, and positive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for our children and each other
-ability to present many proprietary portions of the curriculum in small groups during learning centers
-ability to enhance learning centers based on the curriculum themes i.e. dramatic play converted into a post office, writing center with envelopes and pretend stamps, blocks to make mailboxes, etc.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but not required
minimum education level is High School Diploma and EDU 119-NC Credentials I&II
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool setting
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of individual students
- Proficiency in lesson planning and creating engaging educational activities

- to manipulate simple forms of technology such as a smart board, ipad, or complete lesson plans on a digital assessment program for educational or communication purposes.
