Position Summary
A Direct Service Behavior Analyst is a New York Licensed Behavior Analyst (NY-LBA), Limited Permit Behavior Analyst (LBA-LP) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Direct Service Behavior Analyst will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, functional assessment and analyses, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills.

Position Responsibilities
- Foster a behavior analytic practice consistent with the organization’s mission, vision, and values
- Provide direct 1:1 service with the client in the home or school setting based on case schedule
- Complete established number of direct service hours based on caseload
- Complete assessments, including the VB-MAPP, AFLS, SKILLS, and FBAs
- Write reports as led by assessment, including treatment plans, and behavior intervention plans
- Continually analyze skill acquisition and behavior reduction data
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed for treatment goals, including, but not limited to creating programs and stimuli
- Provide parent training as approved by funder
- Actively seek parent and/or client feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
- Submit written and digital reports and invoices within established timelines via in-house Provider Point system
- Actively participate in opportunities for staff training and education
- Respectfully collaborate with client’s related service providers, teachers, and school administration as needed
Position Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related human services field
- For BCBAs/NY-LBAs, current board certification and/or licensure (please note: BCBAs without NY state licensure will be limited in their case selection. Please see the “Provider Type” column on our Open Cases list to determine which cases BCBA-only candidates are eligible to apply for).
- Successful completion of internship and/or formal training in the analysis of behavior and instructional strategies training related to working with clients who have pervasive developmental disorders and related disorders, their parents, and other agencies working with client
- Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skills, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations
- Ability to demonstrate competence with the autistic population and one or more of the age groups served by MPG
- Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans for individuals with challenging behavior
- Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing skill acquisition plans for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of DTT programming and implementation
- Knowledge of naturalistic ABA programming and implementation
- Flexible availability and ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails
- Successful completion of employee training as required by law
- Participation in ongoing in-house training and required professional development
