JOB SUMMARY:
The Position: Performs highly complex (senior-level) painting work for the General Maintenance Department.
Work involves all aspects of painting and carpentry maintenance, repair, including estimating labor and cost of
materials. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent
judgment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide journey-level skills for painting and carpentry repairs.
- Perform new wall painting and maintenance, including taping and floating drywall, installing cove base,
texturing, priming, and/or staining using brushes, rollers, air sprayers, etc.
- Repair, tape, texture, and float drywall; repair and apply acoustic finishes. Perform and assist with other
craft work when directed or as workload requires. Repair and install sheetrock, siding, paneling, carpet,
ceramic tiles, and plaster.
