This role will require HVAC certification, previous industry experience, and on-call availability. Based out of Atlanta, Georgia the ideal candidate must have the ability to travel throughout our
Southeast region supporting communities in the Georgia and North Carolina areas.
The Roving Assistant Maintenance Manager's role requires a wide range of various maintenance needs to assist on-site maintenance teams in the day-to-day operations of their properties.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas of routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance:

Electrical

Plumbing

HVAC
-
Appliance Repair
-
Locks & Keys
-
Basic Carpentry

Painting and Drywall Repair

Janitorial, Grounds
Requirements for the Position:
-
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
-
Ability to take the initiative and be a self-starter
-
Excellent customer service skills are a must
-
Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field
-
On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays; Required as needed
-
Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner
-
Reliable vehicle with validated driver's license & current automobile insurance
-
Travel required and Must be available to travel as needed
-
CPO certification is required for the role, but can be obtained within 6 months of employment
This role will require EPA Universal or Type I or II HVAC certification, minimum of 2-5 years of previous industry experience, rotating on-call availability, and effective verbal and written communication skills with residents and team members.

Our Maintenance Technicians provide support to the Maintenance Managers and assume a leadership role in their absence. They provide quality service to our residents, diagnose problems, and make repairs. They are responsible for routine and preventative maintenance repairs, as well as ensuring that Venterra's 48-Hour Service Guarantee is adhered to when completing service requests.
