In this role, you’ll will be responsible for delivering packages to skilled nursing facilities (SNF), community based residential facilities (CBRF), group homes and assisted living facilitiesThe ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. They are always a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate medication records
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Perform medication inventory management and order supplies as needed
- Follow proper procedures for labeling and storing medications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of aseptic technique in daily tasks
Experience:
- PTCB/NHA Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience working in IV/Narcotics highly preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and aseptic technique is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
