Be a valued member of a team of Project Managers within the Store Development organization that delivers Nordstrom Rack construction projects, roll outs and strategic initiatives across all Nordstrom physical locations. This position is a role that oversees the end-to-end management of assigned projects, working with architectural and engineering consultants, building contractors and internal stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with internal corporate departments to ensure that the scope and direction of each project are validated and captured.

Partner with real estate and legal teams to support the execution of developer contracts and define landlord responsibilities.

Perform site surveys prior to lease negotiations and throughout the project to ensure the Nordstrom standards and expectations are being met.

Develop individual project and program budgets; develop construction estimates

Monitor, manage and report on project schedules, costs and risks

Lead and motivate a team of external consultants including architects, engineers and specialists to determine the specifications of the project, schedules, create contract documents, submissions, etc. To deliver the project while meeting time, cost and quality expectations.

Lead and manage the general contractor to construct the project, manage trades, interface with the developer and local jurisdiction, review bids, control costs and meet time, cost and quality expectations.

Review and manage change orders and contract compliance.

Conduct meetings on site with the consultants, developer, construction crew and local authorities as needed.

Coordinate with the store team and communicate to them daily and weekly during construction

Navigate decision channels within all groups

Resolve any unforeseen conditions with the budget and schedule in mind.

Review and approve payment applications and closeout documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5-10 years of Construction Project Management in a construction, retail or design organization with practical on-site experience

Understanding of construction means and methods, construction details, specifications and site operations.

Degree or diploma in construction management, architecture or related field.

Organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $103,500- $175,000 annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
