Job Description:
Magnifica Air, a luxury charter airline, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Quality/Inspector to oversee all aspects of quality control and inspection operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Magnifica Air's aircraft and operations meet or exceed industry standards and regulations.
Overall, the Director of Quality/Inspector is responsible for ensuring that Magnifica Air's aircraft and operations meet or exceed industry standards and regulations through the establishment and enforcement of effective quality control and inspection procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control program to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Magnifica Air's aircraft and operations.
- Establish and enforce quality policies and procedures to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, industry best practices, and Magnifica Air's quality standards.
- Manage and develop a team of inspectors, ensuring that all inspections are conducted in a timely and thorough manner.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Monitor operations to identify potential quality issues and proactively address them.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure that all parts and equipment meet Magnifica Air's quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation quality control or related field, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, industry best practices, and safety standards related to aviation quality control.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team of inspectors and oversee all aspects of quality control operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Director of Quality/Inspector:
- Quality Control Procedures: The Director of Quality/Inspector is responsible for ensuring that Magnifica Air's aircraft and operations meet or exceed industry standards and regulations. This will involve developing a comprehensive quality control program, establishing quality policies and procedures, and monitoring operations to identify and address quality issues.
- Inspection Procedures: The Director of Quality/Inspector must ensure that all inspections are conducted in a timely and thorough manner. This will include developing inspection procedures, monitoring inspector performance, and establishing a system for tracking and documenting inspections.
- Audit Procedures: The Director of Quality/Inspector must ensure that all departments and operations are audited regularly to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. This will involve developing audit procedures, coordinating with other departments to schedule audits, and establishing a system for tracking and documenting audit results.
- Regulatory Compliance Procedures: The Director of Quality/Inspector must ensure that Magnifica Air complies with all relevant regulations and standards. This will involve developing relationships with regulatory agencies, staying up-to-date on changes to regulations and standards, and implementing procedures to ensure compliance.
