We’re seeking a strong Kitchen Manager to run the operations of a restaurant.
This person will be in charge of our kitchen and help manage the front of house team. This person will be responsible for creating a fun and professional work environment for employees as well as an incredible dining experience for guests. This person will be in charge of ensuring that the food, service and overall experience is the best it can be. This is a salaried, full-time position with a flexible start date. Management experience preferred.
Responsibilities
● Upholding food quality and standards,following brand guidelines and processes
● Ultimate ownership of all restaurant operations.
● Keeping up with DOH protocols in the Kitchen
● Manage a team of BOH staff including prep cooks, line cooks, and dishwashers
● Liaise with the General Manager to ensure an amazing dining experience from start to finish for both our guests and staff
● Responsibilities include training, salary and tip management, hiring/firing and scheduling.
● Maintaining control over CoGS and Labor targets
● Manage all takeout orders, from delivery platforms to make sure every order is prepared correctly and delivered in a timely manner.
● Ultimate responsibility for cleanliness and upkeep of the physical space.Maintance and routine required services
● Personality is key. This person must be charismatic, excited about what we’re doing, and excited about coming into work.
● Desire to have fun and join a unique kitchen atmosphere is required.
Skills & Requirements
● 3+ years of restaurant experience preferred (ideally as both front and back of house)
● 1+ years of experience in a management position in hospitality
● Culinary knowledge and high ability to train team members
● Excellent communication skills
● Strong focus and attention to details
● Must be an excellent problem solver and a quick learner.
● Must be a people person,
● Team player who thrives in a work environment that requires collaboration with others
● Knowledge of Toast-POS is a plus.
● Knowledge of ADP and other restaurant operation software is a plus .
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
