OVERVIEW
The Fabric Production Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of fabric planning and allocation for production. This role is responsible for controlling the scheduling of raw materials to the dye houses and maintaining the flow of fabric from knitting and dyeing to supply our internal cutting factories. This role will be responsible for collaborating with other departments such as cutting, quality control, and development to ensure seamless flow of material all the way through based on priority.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run daily reports to check priorities, production levels, and new orders.
- Schedule greige goods and provide detailed packing lists to dye houses including systematic transfers.
- Allocate raw materials daily and send purchase orders to the mills.
- Maintain color lab dips and pricing for fabrications in the ERP system.
- Work closely with dye houses to ensure they are shipping and hitting their goals and capacities weekly.
- Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure product is passing. If product fails, work with mill to fix or issue chargebacks.
- Review aging reports for materials in WIP to ensure product arrives on time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree or 3+ years of equivalent work experience
- Initiative-taking and creative critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
- Strong diligence, organizational skills, and time management abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and capability to self-prioritize workload, in an environment with changing priorities.
- Must be an efficient user of Microsoft office tools such as excel. Must be able to manage spreadsheets, pivot tables, formulas, V-look ups, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of production or fabric is a plus.
- Must be tech savvy and quick learner or have past ERP experience.
The base pay range for this position is $26/hr-$30/hr which represents the current range for the non-exempt position. Please note that actual pay will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
