We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team in Parkman, OH. The ideal candidate will lead the recruiting and interviewing plans for all open positions, ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees, and enhance our organization’s attractiveness through innovative recruiting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Recruiting Plans:
· Lead the creation of tailored recruiting and interviewing plans for each open position.
· Craft detailed job descriptions and qualifications by collaborating with the internal team to understand specific needs.
· Enhance organizational appeal by recommending new policies, monitoring job offers, and highlighting benefits and perks.
Attract Applicants By:
· Posting job openings in targeted newspapers, professional organizations, and other relevant venues.
· Networking through industry contacts, associations, trade groups, and employee referrals.
· Implementing college recruiting initiatives and building relationships with educational and vocational institutions.
· Identifying and recommending innovative recruitment sources.
Evaluate and Recommend Applicants By:
· Reviewing applications to ensure candidates meet position requirements.
· Conducting initial prescreening interviews.
· Performing thorough reference and background checks.
· Assisting in onsite interviews and final selection of candidates.
New Employee Orientation and Onboarding:
· Lead comprehensive orientation and onboarding processes for new hires.
· Clearly explain company benefits, policies, and procedures.
· Facilitate smooth integration of new employees into the company culture and their teams.
Perform Other Special Projects As Assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree.
· 2-6 years of experience in recruiting and interviewing.
· Experience with college recruiting or in the manufacturing sector is a plus.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
· Proficient in using recruiting software and social media platforms for recruitment.
