Qualifications: Position available for a BCaBA to join our team of dedicated therapists. Must have at least one-year experience providing direct intervention as a BCaBA or RBT. Entry level BCaBA are welcome to apply.
This is an hourly employee position including paid indirect, treatment work hours. The position is clinical in nature, providing direct intervention, leading a team of RBT’s (Registered Behavior Technicians), and implementing caregiver training under the supervision of a BCBA.
Only candidates with an active BCaBA certification accepted.
Integrative Methods has been providing behavior analysis services to individuals with disabilities since 2010 in addition to occupational therapy services and educational support services. IM is a small private practice offering high quality compassionate care and dedicated attention to all of our clients. We work with individuals with varying diagnosis, including Autism, Down Syndrome, Angelman Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other genetic and/or neurological disorders.
Location: Miami-Dade County, community-based services (home, school, and other)

Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the BCBA in completing behavior assessments (direct observations, ABC data collection, use of interview tools like FAI, use of assessment tools such as PFA, VB-MAPP, AFLS, ABLLS-R, Vineland, EFL, and implementing preference assessments)
- Assisting the BCBA in developing behavior intervention plans, including acquisition and reduction programs
- Conducting regular home or community visits based on the clinical needs of the individualized programs, whether for program implementation, supervision, or caregiver training
- Provide support to RBTs and other clinicians by participating and/or leading team training meetings, providing on-site supervision of the RBT with the client, and participating in other clinical developmental trainings as needed.
- Provide caregiver/school staff training's on the implementation of acquisition and reduction intervention plans
- Assist the BCBA by engaging in indirect treatment planning, including monitoring of behavior programs, maintaining up-to-date data records and progress notes.
- Remain current regarding research and best practices
- Willing to participate in clinical studies ran by colleagues or initiate clinical studies of their own
- Perform other duties as assigned related to their role
IM is not center-based, but instead provides therapy services in the client’s natural environment, i.e. their home, school, or other community setting. Applicant must have transportation and be willing to drive to their client’s varying locations. Driving is kept within an agreeable distance.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals of varying ages (toddler to young adults)
- Experience working with different diagnosis beyond Autism
- Knowledgeable in alternative and augmentative communication systems (AAC), or willing to take on training, such as AAC communication Apps
- Knowledgeable in Behavior Skills Training for caregiver and staff training
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Willing to collaborate with other health professionals integrating a holistic approach
- Special attention to cultural competency, especially with Miami’s melting pot of cultures
- Experience participating in and/or designing clinical studies
