This specific role will be responsible for working cross functionally across all departments to streamline processes and procedures to ensure overall success within the organization. This team member will implement and ensure that initiatives are met within the organization and metrics for these are tracked according to company policy and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead finance, and payroll functions, bookkeeping, budgeting and reporting to the Management Team and the Board of Directors
- Create, review, distribute, and manage quarterly budgets, forecasts, and workbooks related to department level expenses, AR, AP, and performance planning
- Create, management, and collaborate on all financial planning and analysis workflows and projects with our executive team.
- Manage check cashing and accounts receivable
- Lead and manage annual financial audit and corporate tax and compliance filings
- Create, review, and manage all administration and compliance audits and schedules
- Build and maintain infrastructure to forecast company P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Lead long-term growth and efficiency initiatives.
- Partner with our leadership team to guide strategic decision-making and evaluate areas of investment.
- Work closely with Leadership to provide financial insights and assess brightwheel's overall progress towards its strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree (Required, MBA Preferred)
- 10+ years of direct & cross-functional leadership and management experience
- 10+ years of experience supporting Finance functions (CPA or similar credentials a bonus
- Exceptional written and verbal skills
- Highly organized with strong cross functional collaboration skills
Compensation. The base compensation will be between $75,000 - $90,000 and the On Target Earnings will be between $85,000 - $110,000 dependent on leadership and management experience. Prior product management experience is a requirement for this role.
Hybrid Policy. You can live wherever you'd like, but you must commute at your own expense to our office in Atlanta, GA - approximately 8 times per year for mid-quarter and end of quarter meetings.
