Job Summary:
Busy Orthopedic practice in Long Beach/Lakewood looking for an experienced front office medical receptionist.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly
-Check patients in and out
-Collect copays
- Manage appointments and schedules
- Prep Charts
- Verify Insurance Eligibility
- Assist with administrative duties as needed
Skills:
- Proficient in office tasks and organizational skills
- Knowledge of HMO/PPO/Medicare Insurances
- Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of computerized systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Previous experience in front desk or medical office settings is a plus
