St. Elizabeth’s Adult Day Care Center mission is to provide a safe, comfortable, wholesome, and stimulating environment for the aged and persons with special needs. We will accomplish this by operating as a Christian institution by recognizing that each person, staff, and participant is to be respected, loved, and cared for as a child of God. We will serve participants in conjunction with their families by respecting the dignity of each person, fostering a Christian concern for one another, and developing or maintaining the capabilities of each person.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Marketing and Business Development Director plays a pivotal role by overseeing the marketing, development, and enrollment strategies for the organization. This position is crucial in driving the growth and visibility of the center's services through the strategic and ethical application of marketing principles. The Marketing and Business Development Director is directly responsible for creating demand, building brand awareness, and fostering engagement with key stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maximize Center Census and Streamline Admissions:
· Identify and implement strategies to maximize the center’s census.
· Develop and manage an effective, streamlined admissions process.
· Ensure a high level of participant satisfaction throughout the admissions journey.
· Research and identify potential participants and market segments to target.
Community and Agency Relations:
· Serve as the primary relationship facilitator between the centers, the community, and referring agencies.
· Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with referral sources, business leaders, physicians, and other key stakeholders.
Social Media Strategy:
· Execute a comprehensive social media strategy to attract potential participants, their caregivers, community partners, and referral sources.
· Utilize social media platforms to enhance the center’s visibility and engagement.
Marketing Plans and Programs:
· Cultivate and implement comprehensive marketing plans and programs that align with the center’s long- and short-term goals while discovering ways to obtain new participants.
· Regularly review and adjust marketing strategies to ensure effectiveness and alignment with organizational objectives.
· Generate new business leads through various channels, including marketing, email outreach, social media, and networking.
· Directs and implements the advertising and promotional activities.
Promotion and Public Relations:
· Promote the center through interactions with referral sources, business leaders, physicians, the community, and the media.
· Establish and maintain a positive and professional public image of the centers within the community.
· Organize and participate in community events to enhance the center's visibility and reputation.
- Promote public relations of the centers to healthcare providers, case manager, & social workers.
Prospective Participant Engagement and Referral Management:
· Contact families of potential residents to invite them for tours of the center.
· Provide centers information and follow up with prospective participants and families to facilitate the admissions process.
· Receive referrals and track activity to ensure efficient and effective follow-up.
· Advise referral sources, participants, and/or families of admission requirements and process steps.
· Build and maintain relationships with caregivers, addressing their inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
· Track and report on new participants, pipeline progress, and key performance indicators
Admissions Process Development:
· Update the uniform admissions process to be used across all centers to ensure consistency and efficiency as needed.
Collaboration with Executive Team:
· Work in collaboration with the Leadership Team and Site Directors to present a positive and professional image of the centers across all social media platforms and community engagements.
· Contribute to strategic discussions and decision-making processes to enhance marketing and business development initiatives.
Maintain Community Relationships:
· Maintain strong working relationships with referring community agencies and other healthcare providers.
· Foster an environment of cooperation and mutual support to enhance referral networks and participant satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement:
· Continuously assess and improve marketing and business development strategies.
· Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the center remains competitive and innovative.
· Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
· Other duties as assigned by the CEO.
The Marketing and Business Development Director 's responsibilities encompass a broad range of strategic and operational activities aimed at enhancing the center's visibility, reputation, and census. This role requires a dynamic and proactive approach to marketing and community engagement, ensuring the center meets its growth and service objectives while maintaining high levels of participant satisfaction.
Qualifications
· The Marketing and Business Development Director candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field required.
· Preferred candidate will have three years minimum documented experience in census growth, account management, sales growth, and community outreach.
· Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare or LTC Facility setting preferred.
· Interpersonal skills and ability to remain calm and pleasant under pressure and deal effectively with interruptions.
· Strong computer skills - MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
· Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
· Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
· Exceptional attention andmeticulously detail-oriented, ability to problem solve, and exercise good time management skills.
· Meet the conditions of employment mandated by the State of Missouri and St. Elizabeth Adult Day Care.
· Confidentiality and discretion are a must!
· A valid Driver’s License is required.
· Ability to work hours as assigned by CEO.

This position may need to stand, stoop, kneel, crawl and/or climb. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily, as well as possess the skills to meet the demands outline in this job description.
