Summary:
IT Security Analysts use their knowledge and experience to protect the applications and systems under their purview against malicious threats. Their daily activities will include monitoring, maintaining, and reporting on the security status of their assigned applications and systems. It will also involve conducting regular patch management.
Responsibilities:

Maintain and monitor firewalls, web application firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN, endpoint security, DLP, web filters, and other security tools.

Use knowledge of threat intelligence services for patching prioritization and other responses.

Lean on knowledge of Security Frameworks (NIST, PCI, and HIPAA) to help in maintaining compliance.

Stay current on new information technologies and apply those innovations to the company’s security standards and best practices.

Assist associates when they need help with security products and processes.

Assists on executing Password Management Cycle

Email phishing analysis and remediation
-
Management of remote travel users traveling outside the country.
