The Lombard Park District seeks an enthusiastic, fun, and motivated individual to assist the Finance Department. This position is primarily responsible for the daily processing of cash receipts, handling audits, and entering journal entries in the financial software. This position also assists the Human Resources Manager in entering new hire paperwork into the payroll system.
This position is 20 hours a week and offers flexible work hours between 8:30 am-5 pm in a great working environment.
$17.50 per hour
Qualifications:
High School graduate. Clerical experience preferred. Knowledge of computers, ability to problem-solve, ability to work within deadlines. Knowledge of park district operations is a plus.
Job Functions:
· Reconcile daily cash receipts.
· Enter journal entries in the financial software.
· Perform random cash audits.
· Assist with Accounts Payable purchasing card activity.
· Assist the Human Resources Manager with inputting new hire and re-hire paperwork into the payroll system.
· Report new employees to the Illinois Department of Employment Security (New Hire Reporting Program).
· Performing all other duties as directed by Finance and Human Resources managers.
