PURPOSE OF POSITION
Dynamic and experienced responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to optimize our supply chain processes, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products/services to our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

More specifically, the employee owner will:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and risk mitigation within the supply chain function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with sales, marketing, finance, and operations objectives.
- Supplier Management:
- Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation processes to ensure high-quality and cost-effective sourcing.
- Establish strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement supplier risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Inventory Management:
- Develop inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
- Implement demand forecasting techniques to accurately predict customer demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
- Utilize inventory optimization tools and systems to enhance visibility and control over inventory across the supply chain network.
- Logistics and Distribution:
- Optimize transportation and distribution networks to improve delivery efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Monitor transportation costs and service levels, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and service enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to logistics and distribution operations.
- Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain operations.
- Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, leading initiatives to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and optimize resource utilization.
- As necessary, travel Domestically and internationally.
- Continually participate in additional training related to the job.
- Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
- Demonstrate regular, consistent attendance.

EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or a related filed; Master’s degree not required but preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in senior leadership roles with supply chain management preferably in industrial manufacturing.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills, with a track record of driving cost savings and improving supplier performance.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage varying priorities.
