Position Summary:
Work with existing and new pallet recyclers to ensure timely retrieval of PECO’s assets. Work with both internal and external customers to ensure that all facets of the recovery process are completed. This would include sending pickup requests to transportation, ensuring on-time pickups, understanding recycler’s requirements, on-time payment processing, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate the return of assets shipped outside of PECOs distributor network
- Prepare and provide paperwork for recycler returns
- Takes steps to avoid high risk/costs in return activities
- Manage activities throughout the return request and transportation cycle to support timely pick-ups
- Facilitate new recycler setup requests and invoicing support
- Work together with outside recovery partners and Asset Recovery drivers for region specific pickups needs (LTL)
- Collaborate with regional Account Managers to identify solutions to drive improvement in the collection of lost/dwelling pallets.
- Provide KPI reporting to inform and drive action
- Use MS Office programs (including Outlook, Excel, Access, and other business applications) to perform daily job functions and investigate customer concerns.
- Develop working knowledge of PECO’s internal systems, including RED<>LINK®.
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma and equivalent job experience/training
- Computer knowledge including MS office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Customer service background is preferred, but is not required
