Charter House, a leading design firm and manufacturer of seating and décor for the quick service restaurant and cinema industries, has an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join our team.
SUMMARY:
Purchasing Assistant coordinates activities involved with procuring goods such as raw material, parts, buy-out items, and supplies for Company by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Follows up on acknowledgements to purchase orders created by other Purchasing personnel; communicates with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule; runs reports to determine due dates; expedites delivery of goods as needed.
Qualifications include some college and/or a minimum of one year purchasing or administrative support experience in a manufacturing environment. Skills in Office 365 and the ability to interpret design/engineering drawings required. Problem solving, time management, attention to details and excellent customer service skills are a must.
