Summary
To teach and train other with the proper swimming techniques, water safety, and to encourage continual learning progressions for all ages.
Supervision Received & Exercised
Receives direction from the Aquatics Supervisor, Lead instructors, and Training instructors.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

A positive and professional individual with a desire to provide members with an exceptionally safe swimming experience.

Someone with experience in teaching swim lessons or general childcare (this is preferred, but not required).

Someone with knowledge of proper swimming techniques/progressions and water safety rules (this is preferred, but not required).

An individual that has proficient knowledge of competitive swimming strokes.

An individual who remains composed and confident while communicating with clients.
Swim Instructor shifts:

Weekdays from 2:45pm - 7:30pm
-
Saturdays & Sundays 7:45 am - 1:15 pm

Weekdays 8:15 am to 3:15 pm (Summer Camps only)
Requirements:
- Someone that is Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certified and can provide proof of this upon hire (or someone that can meet the requirements to pass the Lifeguard certification process).

At least 2 years of swim instruction experience required.

Competitive swim background preferred but not required.

Current Lifeguard and CPR certification required, or ability to pass the requirements to be certified.

Mandatory attendance of all staff meetings.

Positive and professional attitude.
