We are seeking a skilled Millworker to join our team. As a Millworker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality wood products in accordance with precise specifications. Your duties will include operating woodworking machinery, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring the final products meet our quality standards. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship are essential for success in this role. In addition, we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and are open to provide the necessary training.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine assembly requirements
- Set up and operate woodworking machinery, including shapers, table saws, miter saws, air and belt sanders, wide belt sanding machines, and finish sanders
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble door components
- Apply adhesives, hardware, and finishing materials to door surfaces
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in assembly
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in assembly or woodworking
- Proficiency in setting up and operating woodworking machinery, including shapers, table saws, miter saws, air and belt sanders, wide belt sanding machines, and finish sanders
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
