Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW
The Inside Sales Representative will build and grow designated accounts and achieve overall sales goals for Optoma’s display business. Support all US channel partners and external sales team members. Provide technical and product selection support and follow up on all active leads and quotes. Working closely with Direct Sales Managers and sales management, responding promptly to customer inquiries and proactively engaging customers to grow sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements and advise on appropriate product selection
- Responds to requests for quotes, applications assistance, and resolving customer issues
- Provides direct support for Direct sales managers, channel partners, and distributors
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales manager for further development and closure
- Close sales through diligent follow up and achieve quarterly quotas
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within the assigned territory
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Participate in sales team meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement through initiatives and other assigned action items
- Input and track customer engagements via CRM system
- Proactively drive the sales pipeline by ensuring all quotations and opportunities are entered in the CRM system and followed up through completion
- Provide technical support to sales channels and distribution partners (email/phone/onsite)
