Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
Duties:
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and framework
- Conduct auto painting and refinishing
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts
- Utilize power tools and equipment for repair work
- Soldering and welding as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge in automotive repair processes
- Experience in auto glass repair or replacement is a plus
- Proficiency in auto estimating for repair costs
- Ability to assemble and disassemble vehicle components accurately
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Familiarity with soldering techniques for metalwork
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques and industry standards
- Proficient in using power tools for repair tasks
- Previous experience working as a mechanic is advantageous
- Expertise in auto painting techniques
