The Food Safety and Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the general oversight of HACCP and food safety programs including implementation, staff training and documentation. Provides operational food safety leadership to all departmental supervisors and provides communication between business owners and food safety team. This position will interact with the processing department and is responsible for ensuring compliance to all safety regulations and good warehousing practices throughout that department. This position is responsible for all River City Produce Inventory while ensuring that all physical counts are accurate and produce is accounted for at all times.
This position with other warehouse staff to do daily and weekly counts, but is the primary person responsible to ensure the count activity is performed. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and lift product up to 75-100 lbs. in order to perform the counting and other job duties. This position must be able to work independently showing initiative and enthusiasm and be able to work with little direction as required by the needs of the organization.
