The role of the Senior Assistant Manager is to assist the Site Manager in developing and maintaining a team that provides a premium carwash experience to each Guest which includes: Best in class service, a clean, quick and convenient visit and a clean, dry & shiny car. While providing a premium carwash experience, the Senior Assistant Manager must also ensure that all Team Members embody the WOW brand as defined in the WOW Carwash brand pillars: Advanced Technology, Environmental Dedication and Social Engagement.
The Senior Assistant Manager will also be responsible for building sales and maintaining costs on their shift. In addition, they will need to exemplify the qualities and standards of the WOW Carwash brand at all times.
As part of our team, your duties will include: (Duties and Responsibilities)
Building sales
- Inspire WOW Team Members to achieve and exceed desired results on shift.
- Increase traffic counts - memberships, fleet accounts, premium car wash experience
- Increase ticket average - vending, add-ons, upsell wash packages
- Order vending products as directed by the Site Manager.
Maintain costs
- Labor costs - adjusting of hours based on sales on shift, manage breaks, etc.
- Chemical costs - equipment working properly, limit rewashes, etc.
- Damage claims - cars loaded properly, equipment in good working order, clean truck beds, etc.
- Audit and perform cash management duties. Make sure deposits are accurate and complete.
- Order chemicals and inventory items every week in a timely manner as outlined by the Site Manager
Train and Develop Team Members
- Take part and assist the Site Manager in team meetings to communicate goals, policies, observations and safety measures.
- Train and develop Team Members on expectations of working the XPT, Loading, Attending the lot and/or helping a Guest in the office.
- Complete opening or closing procedures on shift as outlined by Site Manager.
- Act as Site Manager if Site Manager is not on site.
- Assist the Site Manager in staffing the Site - assist in interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
- Be able to host Monthly Meetings and Weekly Maintenance Meetings to communicate goals, policies, observations and safety measures.
- Consistently and correctly uphold self and Team Members to company policies
- Utilize proper human resource procedures
Guest Satisfaction
- Ensure premium carwashes - clean, dry & shiny car (pre-scrub when necessary)
- Review incident reports and damage claims in a timely manner as outlined by Site Manager.
- Hold self and all Team Members to the WOW best in class service expectation.
- Maintain a clean and inviting facility for our Guests.
Site Expectations
- Make sure all preventative maintenance measures are adhered to, including equipment room and tunnel checks, daily, weekly and monthly.
- Properly report and when possible resolve any repairs to ensure all equipment is working at the optimal level.
- Ensure that the entire site (XPT’s, tunnel, signage vacuum and lot area, office, restroom, equipment
and break room) is adhering to the WOW Carwash standards while on shift.
- Ensure all measures are being taken to provide Team Member’s and Guest’s safety at all times.
- Communicate with Site Manager on stock levels; fast passes, vending products, gift cards, pricing brochures and chemicals, etc.
Be a WOW Carwash Ambassador
- Hold themselves and all Team Members on shift to the WOW standard when dealing with any vendors in person, over the phone or via written communications.
- Hold themselves and all Team Members on shift to the WOW standard during all interactions while representing the company which includes but is not limited to: marketing, banking and all Guest interactions.
- Convey and be knowledgeable of the brand pillars: Advanced Technology, Environmental Dedication and Social Engagement.

Working conditions: Extreme temperature ranges may be encountered such as exposure to hot summer sun and winter weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Physical demands: Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is required to stand for extended periods, move around the facility from one area to another, may occasionally need to kneel, stoop, bend and lift and/or move items 30 pounds or less.
