JOB DESCRIPTION
The Banking Business Management team for Latin America provides comprehensive strategic and financial support to the Coverage Team (Investment Banking Coverage, Global Corporate Banking and Transaction Services Sales), including the head of Banking Coverage as well as the Country Banking Heads in the region. The intern’s role will involve exposure to front office, regular interaction with analysts and associates across Banking Latin America as well as partnerships with P&A, controllers and other Business Managers within the region and globally.
Responsibilities include:
Partner with the GCB Business management team to develop/produce financial report/metrics, such as Line of Business (LOB) aligned presentations, business reviews, weekly performance updates, annual budget, multi-year forecast and client and product profitability analysis
Reporting of financial results: walk-forward analysis, P&L drivers, forecast, client and product revenue
Understand the strategy, financial elements (revenue and expenses drivers), business environment and process and system flows to perform accurate analysis and solve ad hoc questions to different audiences
Streamline reporting and create scalability to support new initiatives
Become a valued partner and consultant to the business
Perform specific analysis around the evolution of new sales, including deal control, revenue realization analysis and results-against-targets metric
Students of Accounting, Business Administration, Economics and Engineering
Graduation in December 2025 or later
Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus
Knowledge of MS Office package, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Knowledge of MIS reporting, project finance, planning, budgetary control or Banking/TS products is a plus
Have a good analytical toolkit and be able to synthesize and articulate results to a diverse audience
Thoroughness and attention to detail and accuracy
Strong work ethic, ability to work with confidential information
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet key deadlines, delivering in a fast-moving business environment
Good interpersonal and team-building skills; Excellent communication abilities

Duties: Define, monitor, and report key managements metrics around the health of an operations program. Manage a high-volume and high-complexity reporting & analytics book of work. Leverage rigorous project management discipline. Partner with senior leaders in advancing the business analysis and reporting agenda, focused on insights delivery in areas around operational efficiency, cost modeling, capacity planning, and quality enhancements. Define, design, and drive high priority strategic initiatives with senior level visibility in areas above - ranging from delivering business initiatives to engineering enabling capabilities. Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending IT enhancements to improve data quality. Develop strong partnerships with IT application owners and data management teams to align on a roadmap for continual improvement while providing support around in-flight projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Operations Research or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Analytics, QlikView Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Operations Research or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Analytics, QlikView Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Implementation of Qlik Sense; Translating functional, technical and business requirements into executable architectural designs; Data integration through extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data from various sources into QlikSense applications; Developing, testing, debugging Qlik sense applications; Developing Qlik sense data models; Developing front end applications using Qlik Sense technology; Utilizing Qlik Sense Publisher capabilities; Qlik sense mashups and extensions; Hadoop; Hive; Pig; Spark; Leveraging R and python with Qliksense Application; and Agile Scrum methodologies using Jira and ServiceNow.
Job Location: 10 South Dearborn St., Chicago, IL 60603. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
