About Us:
We are a new venture with the goal of acquiring metal and defence manufacturing firms across Canada. We are currently seeking a highly experienced individual with a background as a vice president, general manager, or director to join our team as an advisor. This individual will guide our merger and acquisition (M&A) strategy and drive business expansion through roll-up initiatives.
Position Overview:
As Senior Executive in an advisory capacity, you will provide strategic direction and expertise in the rollup of metal and defence manufacturing businesses. Your deep industry knowledge and M&A experience will be critical in shaping our acquisition strategy and ensuring successful integration of acquired companies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. M&A Advisory: Provide expert advice on M&A opportunities and rollup strategies within the metal and defence manufacturing sectors.
2. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans for business growth and market expansion through acquisitions.
3. Due Diligence: Oversee the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, identifying key risks and opportunities.
4. Integration Guidance: Offer guidance on the integration of acquired businesses to achieve operational efficiencies and strategic alignment.
5. Industry Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify potential acquisition targets and growth opportunities.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all M&A activities comply with industry regulations and standards.
7. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with key stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and acquired company leadership, to ensure smooth transitions and alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a senior executive (Vice President, General Manager, or Director) role within the metal and defence manufacturing sectors, with substantial experience in M&A and business rollups.
2. Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the metal and defence manufacturing industry, including market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
3. M&A Expertise: Proven track record of leading successful M&A transactions and integrating acquired businesses.
4. Strategic Vision: Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to drive business growth through acquisitions and rollups.
5. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying value in potential acquisitions.
6. Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing and guiding senior management and stakeholders.
7. Educational Background: Advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
