Attendant for Pool / Restaurant oversees all assistance of Outlet needs and restaurant patrons. The person is a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic support staff! We are in Miami’s located in the newest Downtown destination, YOTEL/YOTEL PAD - Miami
The Attendant is responsible for interacting with the restaurant guests, fellow staff members, and supervisors in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner to ensure all guests have an exemplary experience, actively takes orders, gives suggestions.
The Attendant oversees works primarily in the dining areas of a restaurant and pool. They move back and forth between these areas attending to diners and assisting waitstaff with their duties and oversees duties and responsibilities include:
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must be an “out of the box” thinker. Bringing to life the YOTEL Miami Food & Beverage concept.
- Greeting customers in a friendly manner during each interaction.
- Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
- Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu.
- Remove used dinnerware, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from the tables after diners are finish eating.
- Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners
- Refilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments on the dining table.
- Wipe up water spills, food stains and particles from the tables.
- Wipe down counters, equipment, stools, chairs, tables, and other areas as required.
- Ensure you are familiar with the menus to assist in taking orders when required.
- Adherence to all sanitation policies and protocols while embodying YOTEL Beverage & Food concept understanding how his/her actions and execution directly affect the guest experience.
- Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables after dinner is done eating.
- Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables
- Straightening out the tables or replacing stained ones
- Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners
- Refilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments on the dining table
- Bringing out meal orders if waitstaff are busy.
- Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day
- Maintaining pool and restaurant areas clean and organized
- Assisting in picking up towels and food and beverage materials and supplies from all areas.
- Setting up and breaking down events, buffets, or other needs for events.
- Communicating with leadership on task and duties required
- Helping ensure all F&B areas remain clean and in good condition.
- Helps to maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and integrity by completing all duties and special projects as issued by management daily.
- Maintain food safety and food handling procedures throughout shift.
- Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Attends daily preshift meetings and monthly departmental meetings.
- Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
- Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
