Bubble Tea Shop located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn is hiring Team Leader(s) Full-time, Manager Trainee/ Manager
- long term - NO summer/NO seasonal/NO temporary jobs
- MUST be able to work rotating shifts [morning open 7:30am and night closed 10pm]

-assist with the execution of daily operations by overseeing staff training, team building exercises and performance reviews.

- Holds team accountable for consistently delivering excellent customer service and food quality in adherence with brand systems, procedures, and food safety requirements
- Lead, coach and motivate your team to exceed your store goals—for sales, speed of service and order accuracy
- Trains, develops, coaches, and evaluates employee performance; ensures systems for training new and existing team members are fully implemented and followed and share feedback
- Oversees a team of daily shift,
- Organize, supervise and execute shifts, cover shifts as needed
- Maintain an understanding of new store initiatives and communicate changes to other team members, ensuring adoption throughout the store, into steady state.
- Educate the team on important merchandise, promotions available, and product knowledge, sharing information about new and relevant product
- Partner with the Operation Manager to train and develop employees on product knowledge, selling, customer service, operations, visual, policies and procedures, as applicable.
- Partners with the Operation manager in using management information tools to analyze operational and financial performance
- Manage and maintain all inventories in the store this includes keeping your store up to par levels and ordering additional inventory when needed
- Manage Time & Labor Costs – Maximize efficiency of cafe operations without overstaffing
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
- Delegate and ensure side work is completed daily/weekly/quarterly and supplies are stocked appropriately; reports any supply shortages to the owners
- Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior
- Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management
- Handle and manage team member and customer conflicts and document accidents/mishaps
- Adhere, promotes and practices safe work habits, ensuring team members adhere to health and safety guidelines, and employment standards in accordance to local, state and federal guidelines.
- Ensures compliance with company standards in all areas of operation

Basic Qualification/The ideal candidate:
- self-motivated and can bring a great attitude to work each and every day
- flexible in schedule to work any day of the week, across daily operating hours (may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights and holidays), the position also requires the team lead to be in store 5-6 days (with open availability to work at least 1 weekend shift and 1 closing shift) averaging around 40-50 hours per week
- Must have a valid NY DOH Food Handlers certification
- At least 1 year of supervising experience
- Bi-lingual in Mandarin/Cantonese and/or Fujianese strongly preferred
- Have the ability to develop positive working relationships with all cafe employees and work as part of a team by helping others when requested or on needs basis
- Ability to build rapport with customers, team members, and leadership
- Proven ability to direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment
- Support a positive teamwork environment that proactively keeps other employees productive and customers happy
- Ability to effectively prioritize challenges and concerns as well as facilitating a positive experience for other employees and customers
- Ability to quickly manage various types of situations, crises and sense of urgency while keeping a professional and calm demeanor
- You’re able to be on your feet, move/lift/push heavy products up to 50 lbs
- Ability to communicate and understand written and verbal information effectively
- Ability to use and learn new technology and system
- Knowledge of company software (POS) and the ability to troubleshoot common computer-related issues is preferred
- Demonstrates honesty and integrity
- Knowledge of local, state and federal food safety practices
- Have the ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen and line
- Food handlers certificate is required or must pass within 30 days
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
