By joining the Division of Water/Water Instructure Branch/Engineering Section as an Environmental Engineer Technologist I in Franklin County, you will have the opportunity to perform reviews and inspections of plans, designs, activities and operations related to drinking water and wastewater infrastructure to determine compliance with environmental engineering standards and state and federal regulations.
Holders of the Environmental Engineer Technologist I position will complete tasks such as:
- Review and analyze plans and specifications for drinking water and wastewater facility infrastructure construction projects for compliance with applicable state and/or federal regulations
- Review permit applications and contract documents for compliance with State Revolving Loan Fund (SRF) loan program requirements
- Perform periodic on-site construction inspections for projects funded by the SRF loan Program
- Perform other duties as assigned
