Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the overall operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will assist in managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in daily store operations
- Oversee staff activities and performance
- Implement visual merchandising standards
- Manage inventory levels and stock replenishment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Assist in training new employees
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to interpret schematics and planograms for product placement
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations
- Experience in stock management and inventory control
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Knowledge of retail math for sales analysis and forecasting
- Understanding of visual design principles for store layout and displays
- Previous experience in store management is a plus
