Exam Master is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to help with key business processes and administrative tasks. This is a part-time, remote position targeted to candidates living in Delaware or Maryland. Successful candidates will need to be available to attend in-person meetings in Newark, Delaware up to 6 times per year.
The successful candidate will possess strong abilities to work effectively across multiple departments. This role requires excellent communication skills, the capability to manage and execute projects with teams from various functional areas, and a proven track record of driving results through collaborative efforts.
Position Overview: We are looking for a well-rounded and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to help us manage our dynamic business in an efficient and effective manner. The successful candidate will have a significant history of handling complex administrative tasks including experience working with information retrieval systems, client management systems, data management and reporting, project and task management, as well as general administrative tasks. Some accounting, bookkeeping or experience working with financial reports is also a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing communications process management.
- Contact database updating and management.
- Preparation of sales, marketing, and other types of reports
- Compilation and posting of client usage data.
- Assistance with processing client new sale and renewal documentation.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, data analyst, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Requires intermediate knowledge of excel, particularly working with data importing and exporting, and use of pivot tables. Prior database experience a plus.
- Experienced with email and marketing automations platforms such as AWeber or Mailchimp.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
