Human Resource Generalist
A dynamic and growth-oriented company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to lead and direct the Human Resources function of the company. This Position reports directly to the President.
Essential Functions:
· Develops and administers various human resources plan and procedures for all company personnel.
· Plans and organizes all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
· Implements and annually updates the job descriptions as necessary; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
· Recommends personnel policies and procedures.
· Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
· Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conducts reference checking; extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews.
· Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars. Maintains organizational charts and employee directory.
· Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
· Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
· Manages and optimizes the use of ADP Workforce Now for payroll and human resources functions, ensuring accurate data management, reporting, and compliance
· Handle unemployment claims
· Updates all employees E-Verify files and insurance status regularly.
Essential Qualifications:
· A bachelor's degree and five years of human resource experience, or nine years of experience in the HR field.
· SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
· A strong business acumen is expected.
· Leadership attributes to support the organization are required.
· Ethical principles and relationships with peers and co-workers is required.
· Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
