Our client's Process Technology & Training team is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Trainer to join their team!
In this role, you will help in the design, development, facilitation and implementation of new and existing software to users. You will be responsible for collaborating with Product Development professionals to ensure the effective adoption of new tools and processes. The ideal applicant will have previous experience with Product Life Cycle Management systems and Product Development processes.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate training on a variety of software solutions within Product Development (PLM system, Adobe Creative Cloud, OneNote, & SharePoint etc.).
- Design & develop learning and training material such as curriculum outlines, user guides, interactive exercises, presentations, job aids and videos.
- Conduct user training sessions both live in-person and virtually.
- Provide application technical support to resolve issues within the applications the team supports within Product Development.
- Conduct Needs Assessments to track and evaluate the effectiveness of training.
- Provide an elevated level of customer focus and positive working attitude.
- Learn and collaborate ideas to aid in continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Education: Bachelors (required)
- Ability to learn Product Lifecycle Management software functionality and processes and translate information into high quality easily understood training.
- Excellent communicator, comfortable facilitating and delivering technical or business process training to small and large groups.
- Experience developing and presenting training to various audiences and skill level.
- Comfortable coaching and resolving process and training related issues with the user community.
- Problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Provides an elevated level of customer focus and positive working attitude.
- Working knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, & Forms).
- Adobe Illustrator and InDesign knowledge is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Product Development is desired.
- Previous experience working within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system is a plus.
