Responsibilities:
- Welding Inspection and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection activities and quality records.
- Shop Management and Coordination:
- Lead shop operations, schedule tasks, and allocate resources effectively.
- Supervise welding staff, provide guidance, and ensure equipment availability.
- Safety Compliance and Training:
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct training sessions for shop personnel.
- Continuous Improvement and Communication:
- Stay updated on welding trends and recommend process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with teams and management regarding welding issues and progress.
Qualifications:
- Certifications: Valid Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a CWI with leadership experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in welding standards, techniques, and materials.
