Position Overview: (Brief summary of primary responsibilities)
Operates forklift truck to receive, store, stage and distribute material and products within the facility. Returning all excess inventory to stock, packaging shipments, assisting in shipping/receiving, and keeping the warehouse organized. Also responsible for daily customer and vendor pickups and deliveries.
Requirements:
Qualifications:

1-3 years ’related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in warehouse manufacturing environment.

High School education

Strong PC computer skills.

Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack or dollies in a safe

Forklift certified is a plus
-
Clean DMV record
Key responsibilities: (Behaviors, Skills, Responsibilities)

Operates forklifts to receive, store, stage and distribute material and products within the facility.

Daily Reporting
-
Conveys materials and items in a safe and responsible manner from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.

Manages & returns excess material.

Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence such as size, type or product code.

Maintain adequate inventory levels and practices
-
Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes items
-
Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.

Perform daily customer and vendor pickups and deliveries as needed

Perform daily cycle count in raw material warehouse

Ensure Compliance with all company safety standards

Assist in shipping and receiving functions

Support other departments in areas where Warehouse Clerk may help

Timely and accurate completion of all special assignments or projects as required
