This full-time role is ideal for recent graduates or those eager to launch their career in sales and marketing. As a Retail Sales & Marketing Trainee, you will engage in a blend of office responsibilities and local travel to execute direct sales and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Development: Build and foster strong relationships with local retail partners to support strategic sales objectives.
- In-Person Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing the value of our client's offerings.
- Marketing Strategy Execution: Assist in the implementation of marketing strategies aimed at effectively promoting products and services.
- Sales Technique Mastery: Learn and utilize proven sales scripts and rebuttals to effectively handle objections and secure sales.
- Local Travel: Travel up to 35 miles daily to conduct face-to-face meetings with clients and partners, ensuring proactive communication and effective sales efforts.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Drive towards and exceed sales targets to maximize commission potential and earnings, contributing to the company's growth objectives.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Compliance Adherence: Uphold strict adherence to all sales protocols and company policies, maintaining ethical standards and customer trust.
- Collaborative Strategy: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in sales and marketing to develop and implement strategies that expand market reach and achieve business goals.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics for reporting and analysis purposes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or relevant work experience demonstrating proficiency in sales and customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively and build rapport with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in sales scripts and rebuttals, demonstrating adaptability and skill in applying them to various sales scenarios.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 35 miles daily for client meetings and partner engagements, with flexibility to work weekends based on client needs.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, driven to achieve sales targets and contribute to team success.
- Reliable transportation to facilitate travel requirements and ensure punctuality.
