About us
We own and operate 3 preschools located in Delaware and Montgomery Counties. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Director or Director looking for a challenge to implement new technologies, improve curriculums and policies and identify areas to standardize. The schools have all been in existence for over 30 years with varying degree of sophistication. Our objective is to invest in the facilities, staff development and teacher resources to become the most desired centers in their respective areas. We are implementing both parent and teacher advisory teams to help guide the future direction of the school to meet the needs of parents, students and teachers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with existing Director's to:
- Improve and implement educational programs and curriculum for preschool students.
- Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Help with upgrading back office software tools to include online forms management, billing, staff scheduling and messaging systems.
- Improve management reporting on labor budgets, enrollment and expense management
- Assist with social media and minor website improvements.
- Identify best-in-class methods to engage parents to support their child's development and address any concerns
- Step in to assist with daily operations during Director or Assistant Director vacations, including managing staff and ensuring compliance with licensing regulations
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in education administration, preferably early childhood education or intervention
- Minimum 5 years of classroom experience.
- Experience with childcare management systems such as BrightWheel, ProCare, HiMama or other tools.
- Proven ability to collaborate, develop and motivate teams.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practice
- Experience in curriculum planning and implementing educational initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff, parents, and community members
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Management: Proficient in overseeing daily operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance evaluation of teachers.
Education Administration: Knowledge of educational policies, regulations, and licensing requirements for preschool programs under PA Department of Education and DHS.
Educate: Passionate about providing quality education and fostering the growth and development of young children
