The Restaurant Host/Hostess will be responsible for greeting guests upon arrival, escorting them to their tables, and providing accurate wait times. The successful candidate will be able to anticipate guest needs, respond to guest inquiries, and provide superior customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables

Manage reservations, including taking reservations, confirming reservations, and adjusting reservations as needed

Answer guest inquiries and provide recommendations on menu items

Monitor dining room to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction

Maintain accurate wait times and communicate wait times to guests

Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner

Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining room and reception area
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with poise

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
