GridironIT is seeking a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst local to the DC area.
TS/SCI clearance is required.

That’s why we need you, a cybersecurity policy specialist with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.
As a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst on our team, you’ll lead the assessment of the DoD's cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risk. You’ll assist in the development of new policies as new DoD programs are implemented. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards.
You’ll work in a consultative role to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. You'll serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert. You'll support program deliverables, overall implementation efforts, and associated working group activities. You'll work in both a team setting and independently, as needed. You Have:
- 7+ years of experience in a professional work environment
- Experience in drafting senior-level correspondence, including program briefings, congressional reports, or senior-level talking points
- Knowledge of cybersecurity policy analysis, development, and coordination
- Ability to independently analyze complex policy issues
- Top Secret SCI eligibility
- Bachelors Degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with supporting cybersecurity assessments or cyber-risk management initiatives, including proactively mitigating security risks
- Experience working in a team environment, fostering collaboration, and achieving collective goals
- Experience with analyzing a large body of data and creating rich, graphic visualizations with modular design of dashboards
- Ability to effectively support multiple working groups and engage both internal and external stakeholders, facilitating productive communication and collaboration
- Ability to effectively manage, execute, and track assigned tasks to meet required deadlines, while proficiently performing administrative duties as directed
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or IT

Pay: $115,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
