Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, with expertise in building design and construction. This role requires a detailed understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards, as well as experience with project management and coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing structural systems for various types of buildings and structures.
Duties
- Design and develop structural systems for buildings, and other structures.
- Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including timelines and milestones.
- Utilize Revit, CAD, and other structural softwares to create and manage structural designs and drawings.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity of the structure.
- Prepare and review construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality construction.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, costs, and timelines.
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure that structural design meets project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Experience with project scheduling and management tools such as AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, CAD, and Other structural softwares.
- Familiar with cold form steel construction, conventional wood frame construction, hot rolled steel, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
