We're hiring for a Warehouse/Operations Manger for our Indianapolis Door Division!

Responsibilities:
- Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the commercial door division, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with various departments such as sales, warehouse, installation teams, and administration to streamline processes and achieve organizational goals.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
- Estimating:
- Prepare accurate estimates for commercial door projects, including materials, labor, and associated costs.
- Collaborate with sales team to assess customer requirements and develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate estimation.
- Ensure timely submission of bids and proposals, adhering to client specifications and project deadlines.
- Warehouse Management:
- Oversee warehouse operations related to commercial door inventory, including receiving, storage, and distribution.
- Maintain inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and ensure availability of required materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for warehouse staff.
- Sales Support:
- Provide support to the sales team by assisting with customer inquiries, quotations, and order processing.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling commercial door products and services.
- Attend client meetings and presentations as needed to discuss project requirements and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and project details.
- Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively, seeking resolution to maintain positive relationships.
- Act as a point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and addressing any issues or changes as they arise.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the commercial door team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their professional development.
- Facilitate training programs and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff members.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the commercial door division.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize efficiency and performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations relevant to commercial door operations, incorporating new knowledge into practices and procedures.
This role requires a versatile individual who can effectively manage multiple responsibilities, from operations management to estimating, warehouse oversight, sales support, and customer relations. Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.
