Job Title: Dishwasher
Job Type: Part-Time; 4 hours a week.
Schedule: Wednesdays 3:00 pm 7:00 pm on-site

Position Overview:
The dishwasher supports the mission of Revive and Thrive Project by ensuring all food preparation utensils and cookware are clean and sanitized during and after food preparation. The dishwasher will support the chef and volunteers by restocking cleaned items, cleaning appliances and machines, emptying trash receptacles and other duties as assigned, following food safety regulations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Activate dishwashing machine and clean all pots, pans, utensils, cooking supplies, and equipment.
- Clean dish machine and dish area.
- Unload and store deliveries.
- Sweep and mop floors in the dish area.
- Empty trash receptacles
- Support kitchen team by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety codes and procedures
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand and walk for 4-hour shifts
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Minors under the age of 18 are required to have a work permit from a state of Michigan issuing officer of the school district.
- Punctual
- Good verbal communication
- Able to work in a team environment
