Job Summary:
- Focused knowledge of a PLC programing like S5, S7 or TwinCat (target: to have a thorough knowledge of system integrations and logic trees, being able to identify broken parts by accessing the PLC program, to identify fault codes that could have come from programming and not hardware errors, able to troubleshoot remotely with technician on-site) – Critical Requirement
- Knowledge of component drive integration and troubleshooting (any among: Bosch Rexroth, KEB, Siemens, or Mentor) – Critical Requirement
- Knowledge of robotic integration utilizing ABB or KUKA (target: to be familiar with integration with PLC software, identify communications errors, correct instruction logic) – Critical Requirement
- Basic ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings (in both American and European formats) and follow logic paths for troubleshooting and component error identification – Critical Requirement
- Able to communicate in English (both written and spoken) – Critical Requirement
- Experience/knowledge of plastic extrusion blow molding process - Desired but not critical
- Field experience as electrician or mechatronic technician - Desired but not critical
- Experiences working with any ERP system and common Microsoft tools - Desired but not critical
- Position is 80% remote on completion of training - Travel under 20%
Initial training would require an extended stay in our headquarters in Germany for multiple months depending on skillset - afterwards, training/trips to Germany for alignment would be necessary on an annual/as needed basis.
