**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Patient Service Representative/Call Center Rep to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in medical scheduling or related fields for a dermatology practice. This position requires strong administrative skills and familiarity with medical terminology, along with a pleasant and positive attitude is a must!
Also this position may require you to work at our Springhill, Wesley Chapel or Clearwater location.
This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities for Call Center include:
- Answer phone calls and text messages to schedule appointments
- Manage the clinic calendar.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage accurately
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about services offered.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Responsibilities for Front Desk Patient Service Representative include:
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs
- Collect copayments and process payments for services rendered.
- Schedule appointments using medical scheduling software
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents.
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately
- Provide administrative support to medical staff
- Handle patient inquiries and phone calls
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
- Occasionally assist in inventory counts
**Qualifications:**
- Proficiency in medical software is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and records management
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience as a dermatology receptionist is beneficial
