On Target ABA - Autism Therapy For Kids
At On Target ABA, our organizational framework offers a strong network of support and collaboration from both operations and clinical leadership teams. Our services are provided at our clinics (Worthington and Columbus) as well as in schools, client homes, and community environments throughout Greater Columbus areas.
This position is a great opportunity for BCBAs in training to obtain paid unrestricted fieldwork hours. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to work with a BCBA and share a caseload with them so they can fully develop as Behavior Analysts before passing their boards.
We are currently looking for staff to service clients in the following areas:
- Worthington Center (East Wilson Bridge Road)
- New Columbus Center (Airport Drive)
The bulk of our clients are early learners ages 18 months-5 years, but have clients up to age 16.
The Level III Registered Behavior Technician will implement clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings.
The Level III Registered Behavior Technician will collect data on programs, assist with parent training, and assist the Behavior Analyst with clinical assessments and treatment planning as needed.
The Level III Registered Behavior Technician will assist BCBAs in training new hire technicians using the On Target ABA RBT training protocol.
- RBT Certification from the BACB and/or in masters Program for BCBA
- Will need to pass a training competency by our BCBA’s to become a Level III Behavior Technician Trainer.
- Required: Extensive experience providing ABA to children ages 1-6 in a classroom or 1:1 setting;
- Experience implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children
- Provide direct client care
- Train new hires on applying ABA techniques in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
- Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
- Communicate with clients and observe client behavior.
- Teach client communication skills.
- Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Assist Behavior Analysts in preparing client materials as instructed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
- Collaborate with treatment team including clients, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, and co-workers.
- Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training sessions.

- Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols and written.
- Must maintain a professional appearance with regard to clothing, grooming, hair, and make-up.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift and carry clients with adaptive equipment.
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting,
- crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body
- movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of
- working with children with challenging behavior.
- Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device
- functions for data collection.
- Must be physically present at the assigned job location, which may include home,
- school, and community placements.
- Must be able to receive detailed information through observation and oral
- communication.
- Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through
- computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between
- different job sites.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License insurance in good standing
