Executive Director
Job Overview:
HCMA is seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization's mission and strategic initiatives. As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, overseeing daily operations, and advancing the organization's goals while ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
o Develop and execute strategic plans in alignment with the organization's mission and objectives.
o Work closely with the Board of Directors to establish short-term and long-term goals.
2. Organizational Management:
o Oversee day-to-day operations, programs, and initiatives of the organization.
o Lead, motivate, and manage a dedicated team, providing guidance and support to achieve set goals.
o Maintain an active membership database and actively reach out to the membership
3. Fundraising and Financial Management:
o Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure diverse funding sources, including grants, donations, and sponsorships.
o Ensure sound financial management, including budget development, fiscal oversight, and reporting.
4. External Relations and Advocacy:
o Represent the organization to stakeholders, partners, government entities, and the public.
o Build and maintain strategic partnerships to advance the organization's mission and increase its impact.
o Advocate for the organization's causes and initiatives, engaging with policymakers and community leaders.
5. Board Collaboration:
o Collaborate effectively with the Board of Directors, providing regular updates, reports, and recommendations.
o Support board governance, meetings, and committees to drive strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
· Proven leadership experience in a senior management role within the non-profit sector or related field.
· Strong strategic planning and organizational management skills.
· Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor relations, and financial management.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking abilities.
· Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
· Passion for the mission and values of the organization.
Education and Experience:
· A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master's degree preferred).
· Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in non-profit management or a related field.
· Track record of successful leadership and achievement in a similar capacity.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
