Position: Sales and Membership Lead
* Pay is negotiable based on previous experience and expertise; Experience in the health and wellness industry is highly preferred*
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets for the studio.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels such as social media, community events, partnerships, and referrals.
- Customer Acquisition: Proactively engage with potential clients to promote studio memberships, class packages, workshops, and other offerings.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Sales Tracking and Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities, track performance metrics, and prepare regular reports for management review.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with studio instructors, front desk staff, and other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and achieve sales goals.
- Promotional Activities: Plan and execute promotional campaigns, events, and workshops to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Training and Development: Continuously update product knowledge and sales skills through training programs and professional development activities.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Community Engagement: Engage with the local community through outreach efforts, partnerships, and participation in relevant events to increase brand awareness and attract new clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the wellness or fitness industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for health and wellness.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs, with a flexible schedule to accommodate peak class times, special events, and promotional activities.
- Strong networking skills and a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and influencers to drive referrals and partnerships.
- Resourcefulness and creativity in overcoming obstacles and objections, with a solution-oriented mindset to address client concerns and objections effectively.
